Imagine a healthier life
Hi, I’m Julie Sur. I grew up in North Carolina and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Psychology. After college, I made the big move to NYC, where I spent a decade before relocating to Portland, OR. I built a small business called Wooden Home where I crafted handmade jewelry out of salvage wood. It was during my time in Portland that I faced my own health challenges, sparking a deep dive into self-education on all topics health and wellness. Eventually, after two decades away, I returned to North Carolina, where I now reside with my husband and son, and our sweet cat.
These life experiences led me to pursue a career related to Health. I completed the Duke Health & Well-being Coaching program in 2024, which equipped me with the necessary skills to partner with individuals on their wellness goals. I firmly believe that health is an individual journey, and each person's perspective on well-being is distinctive and personal. As a health coach, I am driven by my innate curiosity and genuine desire to assist individuals in enhancing their overall well-being through the promotion of health and wellness practices tailored to their unique needs.
In my free time, I find joy in playing tennis, taking walks, especially in nature, swimming, traveling, reading nonfiction and listening to podcasts.
